Who we are
Properfy Ltd is responsible for the personal information described here. We’re registered in England and Wales, company number 17499140. Our registered office is 16 Prescot Street, London E1 8AZ, and you can contact us at info@properfy.co.uk.
What we collect
When you tell us about your move or ask for a callback, quote or quick-sale options, we collect what you give us: your name, phone number, email address and postcode, what you’re doing and the stage you’re at, and anything else you choose to tell us. If you ask us to email you a checklist, we collect your email address and postcode. If you’re a partner registering interest, we collect your name, firm, role, office postcode and contact details.
If you sign up with us online (at properfy.co.uk/get-started), we also collect the transaction you choose, your name, email address and property postcode, your signature, whether you asked us to start work during your cooling-off period, and the date, time, IP address and browser you signed with. We also record how and when you made your initial payment. We never see your card details.
Why we collect it

- To send you the checklist you asked for.
- If you sign up with us, to arrange your transaction, keep a record of the agreement you signed and your payment, and email you a copy.
Who we share it with
Only the professionals you agree to be introduced to, such as a conveyancer, a mortgage broker, a surveyor or a removals firm. We tell you before any introduction is made, and we never sell your data.
If you sign up with us, we share the details needed to arrange your introduction and onboarding with your appointed law firm, and transfer agreed funds on account to them, as your agreement explains.
How your details reach us
Forms on this site are delivered to our inbox by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), an email-forwarding service used only to pass your details to us.
Online sign-ups are handled by our own system, which runs on Cloudflare and keeps your signed agreement and records in private storage in the EU. Card payments are processed by Stripe. Emails, including the copy of your signed agreement, are sent through Resend.
How long we keep your information
If you sign an agreement with us, we keep it, with your details and payment records, for 6 years after your transaction ends (or after you cancel), because that’s how long a claim about a contract can be made and how long we must keep financial records. If you send us an enquiry that doesn’t go ahead, we delete it 12 months after we last spoke. Checklist requests are deleted 3 months after we send the checklist. After these periods we delete your information securely.
Cookies and storage
We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies. The site keeps a few small things in your browser: your checklist progress, so your ticks are still there when you come back; for the length of your visit, the page you arrived on, so your enquiry tells us how you found us; and, if you sign up online, your sign-up reference in that browser tab, so we can show your confirmation when you come back from paying. That last one is removed when you close the tab. You can clear the others by clearing your browser data.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to how we use it, or withdraw your agreement. Email info@properfy.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
